Premier League Match Week 4 Predictions: Can Dave Bounce Back Against Emma?

This week, Dave and Em are back with our predictions for Match Week 4 in the Premier League. After last week’s predictions didn’t go too well for Dave, he’s set on making a comeback. Emma’s predictions have been spot on, and she’s currently five points ahead. But, it’s a fresh game week, and Dave is ready for a turnaround. Join us as we go through each fixture, sharing our thoughts and score predictions, and of course, feel free to add your predictions too.

Match Week 3 Recap

Emma had a great week last time around, outscoring Dave by 12 points to 8. She got two exact scores right—Ipswich vs Fulham and Brentford vs Southampton. Meanwhile, I only got one exact score correct, meaning my overall points tally stands at 16, compared to her impressive 21.

It’s all about bouncing back, though. So, here we go with this week’s predictions and see if Dave catch up to Team Emma!

Wolves News: DAVE & EM: PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTIONS MW4

Southampton vs Manchester United (12:30 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 2-0 to Manchester United  Dave’s Prediction: 1-1 draw

Man United haven’t had the best start, but Emma believes they’ll turn things around here with a comfortable 2-0 win. Dave isn’t convinced by United – I think Southampton might have enough to manage a draw.

Brighton vs Ipswich Town (15:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 4-1 to Brighton Dave’s Prediction: 3-1 to Brighton

Brighton are flying high, and neither of us sees Ipswich being able to stop them. Emma’s gone big with a 4-1 prediction, and Dave’s sticking to a solid 3-1.

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City (15:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 2-0 to Crystal Palace
Dave’s Prediction: 2-0 to Crystal Palace

Here’s one where we’re totally agreed! Neither of us sees Leicester managing a win here, and we’re both predicting a 2-0 victory for Palace.

Fulham vs West Ham United (15:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 1-1 draw Dave’s Prediction: 0-0 draw

West Ham haven’t looked too sharp, and Fulham are a tough nut to crack at home. While Emma thinks we’ll see goals from both sides in a 1-1 draw, Dave’s gone with a bit more of a cagey affair and predicted a goalless draw.

Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest (15:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 2-0 to Liverpool
Dave’s Prediction: 3-0 to Liverpool

We both reckon Liverpool will be too strong for Forest. Emma’s gone with a comfortable 2-0 win, while Dave thinks Liverpool will push further and take it 3-0.

Manchester City vs Brentford (15:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 3-1 to Manchester City
Dave’s Prediction: 2-0 to Manchester City

City are in great form, and while Emma thinks Brentford will nick a goal, Dave’s sticking with a solid 2-0 win for the Citizens, keeping another clean sheet.

Aston Villa vs Everton (17:30 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 2-0 to Aston Villa
Dave’s Prediction: 4-0 to Aston Villa

Villa have had a decent run so far, and Emma’s backing them with a straightforward 2-0 win. Dave’s a bit more confident they’ll really pile the pressure on Everton, so I’ve gone with a 4-0 victory.

Bournemouth vs Chelsea (20:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 2-2 draw
Dave’s Prediction: 3-1 to Chelsea

Chelsea haven’t been convincing, but Emma reckons Bournemouth might hold them off for a 2-2 draw. Dave believes Chelsea will have just enough to win 3-1.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal (Sunday 14:00 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 1-1 draw
Dave’s Prediction: 2-1 to Tottenham

The North London Derby always gets feisty, and Emma thinks it’ll end in stalemate. However, Dave’s feeling bold and think Tottenham will take this one 2-1, especially with Arsenal dealing with some injuries.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Newcastle United (Sunday 16:30 Kickoff)

Emma’s Prediction: 2-1 to Wolves
Dave’s Prediction: [Awaiting Dave’s Prediction in Match Preview]

Big match for Wolves as we face Newcastle. Emma’s heart is ruling here, and she’s gone for a 2-1 victory. Dave is  keeping his prediction close to my chest until the match preview. Stay tuned for that!
