Wolves were playing in the championship at the time when they beat Liverpool at Anfield it took Wolves 53 seconds to take the lead when Richard Stearman headed a goal from a free kick taken by Helder Costa.

Then in the 41st Minute Helder Costa setup another goal this time it was Andreas Weimann to round the goalkeeper Loris Karius and to double the lead before half time.

Not much happened just Liverpool trying to get back into game with chances in the game but they did managed to get a goal in the 86th by Divock Origi but they failed to find a equaliser to get a replay back to Molineux and final whistle came and the Wolves fans were in ecstasy on beating a premier league club and give Jurgen Klopps side a 2nd defeat in a cup competition.
