Sheffield United 0 Wolves 2 14th September 2020 in the Premier League at Bramall Lane.
This game was played behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions and this was the first game of the season 2020-2021.
It took Wolves 3 minutes to open the scoring in the game when Raul Jimenez connected with a delivery from the left-hand side from Daniel Podence to volley the ball into the roof of the net.
Then Wolves struck again with another goal on the 6th minute before that Aaron Ramsdale produced a good save from Raul Jimenez in stopping him getting a 2nd goal in the game and from the resulting corner from Pedro Neto Romain Saiss rose the highest to send his header into the back of the net to give Wolves a 2-0 lead in the game.
Sheffield United have never lost an opening match in the Premier league and they were working hard to try and get back into the game but it took the blades 52 minutes to get a shot on target when John Fleck hit the post and then soon after George Baldock had an effort which was blocked and they couldn’t find a way through to the Wolves goal and Wolves held to the end of the game without much trouble towards their goal and win 2-0
This was their first win in Yorkshire since 1981.

A LITTLE BIT MORE HISTORY
Sheffield United 1 Wolves 3 25th November 2008 in the Championship at Bramall Lane.
Chris Iwelumo opened the scoring for Wolves in the opening 5 minutes from a tight angle after frenetic start to the game.
Brian Howard of Sheffield United thought he had levelled direct from a corner, but the ball was judged to have not crossed the line and the scoreline remained 1-0 to Wolves.
Then Wolves lost Carl Ikeme to Injury and Wayne Hennessey took his place on the field.
Then in the second half of the game Chris Iwelumo made it 2-0 to Wolves after a cross from Karl Henry and then a few minutes later in the game Wolves made it 3-0 when Sylvan Ebanks Blake smashed home.
15 minutes from time Sheffield United got a consolation goal when Matthew Spring scored with a neat finish to make it 3-1 to Wolves and the game ended.
This win was Wolves seventh game on the trot and second time they had done this achievement of winning seven games since spring 1987.
