Karl gives his opinions on player performance
Jose Sa:
Should have stopped Leeds equaliser with his body, not his hand but was hardly troubled by Leeds players with shots off target. With his position for the own goal he could have saved it. But overall some good work in game but his injury in pre-season means he’s lacking match sharpness.
Match Rating 5.5
Jonny Otto:
Not his best game and suffered a bit in this game. He tried his best and had a shot off target but will improve.
Match Rating 5
Nathan Collins:
Played well in the air clearing the ball away with his head and teamed up well with Kilman but will improve.
Match Rating 6.5
Max Kilman:
Exactly the same as Collins but did the best he can in the back 4, some good passes and touches will get better in games.
Match Rating 6.5
Rayan Ait Nouri:
Was ok in defence but lost the ball in the box leading to Leeds equaliser which he should have cleared.
Match Rating 4.5
Ruben Neves:
Played very well kept the ball nicely in midfield and didn’t put a foot wrong. He had a shot from distance which didn’t trouble the Leeds goalkeeper.
Match Rating 7.5 and Player of the Match.
Leander Dendoncker:
Should have scored before the end of first half and had some ok touches of the ball but lost the ball a few times.
Match Rating 6.
Morgan Gibbs White:
Tried his best had a few shots off target but will only get better the more games he plays.
Match Rating 6.
Daniel Podence:
Took his goal well to open the scoring, caused problems in the Leeds defence and should have got another one in the 2nd half.
Match Rating 7.
Pedro Neto:
Had a good game caused problems with the Leeds defence with runs down the wing and had chances in the game. Supplied a good cross to Hwang to setup the goal for Podence.
Match Rating 7.
Hwang Hee Chan:
Had a decent game. Setup the goal for Podence to open the scoring but had very few chances. Faded away badly as the game progressed but probably due to his lack of game time in pre-season.
Match Rating 6
Substitutes:
Chem Campbell: Had 5 mins plus injury time didn’t do much in his part the game.
Leeds
Leeds played well, Meslier produced some fine saves for Leeds keeping them in the game.
Aaronson in the Leeds midfield was immense causing problems and didn’t do anything wrong and was my player of the match for the whole game.

I have been a Wolves fan for over 30 years.
I have supported them both home and away games in the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s and now like looking into wolves games the stats behind the games they play in the premier league and also look other stats if asked by someone else in the podcast. I have also done the 92 football league grounds and shortly be doing a ebook about peoples favourite match they went to along with a match report and if possible stats from game.
