Wolves Team News: Pereira indicated that Jorgen Strand Larsen has returned to training and will be available from the bench for this one, subject to the medical team’s assessment. There are no other new injury concerns.
Leeds Team News: Daniel Farke will again be without first-choice goalkeeper Lucas Perri, with Karl Darlow set to continue after his standout display at Craven Cottage. Farke revealed late fitness calls are needed on Dan James, who is a major doubt with a core muscle issue, and Willy Gnonto, who is struggling with a calf problem. Apart from those concerns, the manager says the rest of the squad is in a good place.

Jorgen Strand Larsen’s new deal until 2030 will help Wolves “give another step up” with Pereira pointing to the 25-year-old’s “spirit and personality” to help his side increase their level.
The striker will be available for selection against Leeds after training with the team on Thursday, but is not expected to play for 90 minutes.
Elsewhere Enso Gonzalez remains sidelined with a knee injury and is not expected back until the New Year.
When asked about his own new contract, Pereira said: “The timing was the fact that we need to move forward because we trust each other. They believe in our work and I believe in the project at the club. Of course [it felt good to get reassurance] but football is not about reassurance. It’s about trust, hard work day by day, about character and commitment. If you are here and see the work every day, then you can value the work of someone.”
On how confident he is about turning around Wolves’ form: “The mentality will be very important. The team gives me the confidence I need and I try to give them confidence too. They work hard, they show ambitions, they are competing for the positiions and they have the responsibility.
On what he expects this Saturday: “I hope to see the results of the work [from training this week]. It is a day that is very important. When a wolf is in pain, suffering, it is time for the pack to unite and show the strength of the pack.”
He is confident his players will respond against Leeds: “I can see that they want to get results as soon as possible – we are not in the middle or the end of the season but in the beginning, it is important to get points.”
