Forest Dominant but No Goal: Wolves Leave With a Point
Wolves left the City Ground with a point after a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest, but the scoreline flatters the performance. This match was scrappy, tense, and low on quality, with Forest creating far more chances and Wolves hanging on for long spells.

A poor first half for Wolves
Wolves offered almost nothing going forward in the first half. Forest should have been ahead, and they missed big chances that really should have been goals. Wolves’ best moment before the break came late, when a decent cross found its way to Tolu, but the finish drifted just wide.
At half-time, it felt like Wolves were lucky to still be level.
Second half: slightly better, still disjointed
The second half improved a little, but Wolves still looked disjointed and short of ideas. Changes were made, including switching both wing backs, as the side tried to find a way to settle and create something.
Even so, Wolves almost stole it late on. A big chance fell in the closing stages, but the Forest keeper produced a strong save to keep it 0-0.
Man of the Match: Jose Sa
For Wolves, the standout was clear.
Jose Sa was man of the match.
He made several key stops, including one outstanding save in the second half followed by a quick reaction to keep the ball out. Whatever you think about Wolves’ attacking issues, this point was built on Sa’s shot-stopping.
Big picture: a point, a clean sheet, and a reality check
Wolves stayed unbeaten at the City Ground (now 10 games), which is a stat that feels hard to believe after watching this one. Forest had the urgency and the shots, but their finishing let them down. Wolves kept a clean sheet, took the point, and moved up to nine points, but they will need more control and more threat in future games.
