JOSE SA 5
Not much wrong from the goalkeeper, could’ve maybe done better for the goals as none of them were excellent finishes.
MATT DOHERTY 5
Poor defending for Forest’s second but he looks a very different player to the Doherty under Gary O’Neil.
SANTI BUENO 5
Same story, sloppy as the rest of them and the physicality difference between Wood and our defence was evident.
PEDRO LIMA 6
Solid crosses, both goals conceded down his flank. Attacking well and some bright spells defensively. Poor for the goal. Confused by his substitution.
RAYAN AIT NOURI 5
Constantly cutting inside and offering less and less each time he puts it on his other foot. Skilful but not effective
RODRIGO GOMES 5
Bright first half always taking on his man and trying some decent deliveries.
JOAO GOMES 6
Holding up the ball well. Sometimes too slow on the ball but that also comes down to lack of options. Majority of the time he struggled to pick out ambitious passes forward and even simple passes at times and just went the easy way backwards. Probably our best player. Couldn’t do much with how bad everyone else played today
TOMMY DOYLE 5
Dictates play so well, our most direct player and picks out as many switches as possible, positive thinking and drives forward to the best of his ability.
HWANG HEE-CHAN 4
Just poor man! He doesn’t offer anything, horrific miss into the North Bank first half; always taking too many touches and losing it. Should’ve been subbed earlier but no one played well.
GONCALO GUEDES 4
Same old story. Poor like everyone else and yet again rightfully substituted. I have not a lot to say everyone was poor, unorganised and stupidly sloppy mainly Guedes.
JORGEN STRAND LARSEN 4
Missed many chances that he’d usually score. A poor Larsen today but needs to be taken into consideration he cannot do everything. Unlucky with his chances.
SUBSTITUTES
Forbs 5
Not much chance on the ball, agile and confident to beat a player but didn’t get much chance past Nuno’s excellently organised Forest side
Lemina 4
Poor. Misplaced passes galore, physical and strong but couldn’t link play at all.
Bellegarde 5
Confused as to where his strongest position is on the pitch, same as the rest as soon as we reach the 18yd box it’s shielding the ball unable to shift Forests shape.
Sarabia 5
Set piece deliveries were positive and influential, crosses also hung quite well. Feel like a parrot repeating “poor” but it was the story for all of those players today.
VITOR PEREIRA 4
Prior to the game the lineup was very confusing, Rayan playing so deep into this back 3 that Pereira likes to use just didn’t suit him as he’s so positive forward. Did as best as he could with the weakened team, substitutions yet again best with the short options we had. Forbs should get a look in to the starting eleven. Yet again just really lacklustre today and… “poor” Cunha a huge miss as always and it is scary how much we rely on his brilliance.
