Premier League Predictions Week 25: Emma’s Streak, and Every Score Pick

DAVE & EM SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS AHEAD OF PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHWEEK 25

Week 25 of the Premier League is here, and the predictions series on Always Wolves Fan TV has turned into a proper  title race. Emma’s been stacking wins for weeks, Dave’s trying everything to stop the gap growing, and the banter is starting early doors.

There’s also a bit of Wolves chat (because there always is), a quick transfer window Q&A, and a look at the Match Bingo app that powers the weekly predictions.

Week 24 recap: Emma keeps winning and the gap grows

Emma’s recent form has been the difference. She’s now won four or five weeks on the spin, and Week 24 was another one for the scoreboard.

Dave did improve, getting six correct outcomes across the ten matches, but Emma still edged him with seven correct outcomes, plus a “bob on” correct score to boost her total. The key moment was Emma nailing Brighton vs Everton exactly, which added extra points and pushed her clear again.

Dave summed it up in classic style: Emma had been “toying” with him early in the season, giving him hope, then turning into a points machine once the new year landed. Emma’s reply was just as blunt, comparing Dave’s chances of catching her to Wolves escaping relegation. In her words, Dave’s still got more chance of closing the prediction gap than Wolves do of getting out of trouble.

Premier League predictions Week 25

Friday night football: Leeds vs Nottingham Forest

The weekend starts with Leeds vs Nottingham Forest under the Friday night lights, and it’s one of the few fixtures where Dave and Emma landed on the exact same score.

Emma’s reasoning was simple and fair. Leeds have a strong home record and Elland Road isn’t an easy place to go. Forest, to their credit, have been doing well away from home, but Emma flagged key problems at the back, including defensive absences. She also mentioned a goalkeeper doubt and confirmed that Neco Williams is suspended, which matters when you’re heading into a tough away game.

Both ended up on:

  • Dave: Leeds 2-1 Forest
  • Emma: Leeds 2-1 Forest

Saturday’s main slate: big clubs, tricky ties, and a few changed minds

Saturday’s games brought the most debate, partly because form can swing quickly at this stage of the season, and partly because Dave’s habit of predicting results he thinks would be “funny” doesn’t always help his points total.

Manchester United vs Tottenham: confidence in United

The United vs Spurs chat came with a running joke about “the guy with the hair”, a nod to someone growing their hair until United win five on the bounce. United had already won three in a row, and both predictors leaned into that momentum.

Emma backed United strongly, saying they’re doing well under Michael Carrick, while Spurs are, in her words, “very, very Spursy”, up and down when you least expect it.

  • Dave: Man United 2-0 Spurs
  • Emma: Man United 3-1 Spurs

Dave’s logic was partly football, partly public service. He wants United to keep winning so the haircut happens sooner.

Arsenal vs Sunderland: Dave goes comfortable home win

This one had a clear view from Emma and a bit of uncertainty from Dave.

Emma looked at Sunderland’s away form and injuries, and went for an Arsenal win that still includes a Sunderland goal:

  • Emma: Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland
  • Dave: Arsenal 1 Sunderland 1

Dave  talked through the idea that Sunderland are stronger at home than away, but he also admitted he’d been thinking about a draw because it would make the league more interesting.

Bournemouth vs Aston Villa

This was one of the more detailed chats of the Saturday block. Emma originally had a 1-1 down, then changed her mind before filming and flipped to a Bournemouth win based on form.

She said Bournemouth are in good form and Villa have had a slight blip, even though Villa have brought players in. Emma also listed Villa players (Kamara, McGinn, Tielemans, Watkins being a doubt for this one) as part of the wider context.

  • Dave: Bournemouth 1-1 Aston Villa
  • Emma: Bournemouth 2-1 Aston Villa

Burnley vs West Ham: bottom end scrap, two different draws

Emma framed it as a bottom of the table clash and went for goals:

  • Emma: Burnley 2-2 West Ham

Dave also went draw, but with a tighter scoreline:

  • Dave : Burnley 1-1 West Ham

Fulham vs Everton: Emma calls it “boring”, Dave backs Fulham at home

Emma didn’t try to oversell this one. She simply called it a bit boring and picked a draw:

  • Emma: Fulham 1-1 Everton

Dave went the other way, backing Fulham at home because they’ve been going well. He also said he still sees Everton scoring, so the pick lands as:

  • Dave: Fulham 2-1 Everton

Wolves vs Chelsea

This is Always Wolves Fan TV, so Wolves vs Chelsea naturally got a bit of extra attention, even if the mood wasn’t exactly optimistic.

Emma was direct. She’s got:

  • Emma: Wolves 0-2 Chelsea

Her reason was simple, Chelsea are in great league form, and she doesn’t see Wolves turning the corner here. There was also a bit of superstition in the mix. Emma joked she isn’t predicting a Wolves win again because she doesn’t want to jinx anything.

Dave didn’t give a score on this show, saying viewers will have to wait for his separate Thursday prediction preview for his Wolves vs Chelsea pick:

Newcastle vs Brentford

This one had a key stat that shaped the chat. Emma pointed out that Brentford are good away from home, averaging two points a game away, which is strong by any standard.

She also gave Newcastle credit for the atmosphere at St James’ Park, saying it helps them a lot. Dave mentioned Newcastle needed to bounce back and used that home factor to back them for a narrow win.

  • Emma: Newcastle 2-1 Brentford
  • Dave: Newcastle 1-1 Brentford

Match Bingo: how the app works, how to join

The basic idea is exactly what it sounds like, bingo and football combined, with prizes available in each game. They highlighted that there’s £250 worth of prizes in each game, and that you can win on:

  • a line
  • two lines
  • a full house

They also mentioned a deal for players using the code ALWAYS, which gives a 100 percent deposit bonus (minimum £10). It’s for 18+, and UK residents. They also encouraged responsible play.

If you want to try it, you can use the same link they shared on the show: Match Bingo app for Always Wolves Fan TV viewers.

Sunday fixtures: a derby that feels strange, and a massive title clash

Sunday brings the kind of fixtures that can swing moods quickly, especially if you’ve got one eye on the title race.

Brighton vs Crystal Palace: derby edge, and two different draw picks

Emma called Brighton vs Palace a bit of a “manufactured derby”, but still treated it like a derby game where form can go out the window. There was also a mention that Palace fans might borrow a Wolves chant because of the rivalry with “the Albion”, with Brighton playing in blue and white stripes too.

Emma kept it simple: both teams score goals, so she backed a scoring draw.

  • Emma: Brighton 2-2 Crystal Palace
  • Dave: Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Dave also kept pushing his “one of these 1-1s has to come in” theory, because he’d been leaning on draws to try and hit a perfect score.

Liverpool vs Manchester City

This one came with context. City had dropped a two-goal lead against Spurs, and Emma took that as a reason to back Liverpool to edge it.

  • Emma: Liverpool 2-1 Man City

Dave went the other way. He thought City would win, and he also joked that if Arsenal drop points and City win, it makes the title run-in more interesting.

  • Dave: Liverpool 1-2 Man City

Wolves Q&A: transfer window verdict and what the new signings might change

The end of the show moved into a short Q&A section.

Strand Larsen to Crystal Palace and the transfer window verdict

Emma said it was a good window. On Strand Larsen leaving, she was blunt: he wanted to go, and Wolves getting £48 million was, in her words, laughing all the way to the bank.

She also pointed out his output for Wolves in the Premier League, one goal, and it was a penalty, which she called rubbish. That said, she didn’t rule out him doing well at Palace, because a change of environment and something to prove can change a player.

Angel Gomes: creativity, playing through the lines, and fixing the “side-to-side” issue

Emma described it as a smart signing. She’s hoping for more creativity, someone who can play through the lines, turn quickly, and help Wolves move the ball forward rather than going side-to-side without progress. She also said he can do a defensive role and has played in a pivot, so there’s flexibility.

Dave added a stat from Gomes’s time in France, saying that in one season in the French top league he had the most assists of any player, which is exactly the sort of output Wolves fans have been crying out for.

Wolverhampton tips and Adam Armstrong settling in

Emma said she thinks he’ll settle and be great, bringing leadership. She also framed it realistically, saying it’s not the most glamorous signing if Wolves were safe, but where the club is now, it makes sense. She also suggested he’ll be useful for the Championship if that’s where Wolves end up.

Emma described Wolverhampton as a lovely city, but said it’s not exactly packed with Michelin-star places. She did add there are plenty of nice places to eat, mentioned an Italian restaurant that players visit (not named), and gave a specific shout for The Fox at Shipley, a pub where they rate the food.

Final thought: get your predictions in and see if you can beat them both

Emma’s in front, Dave’s still swinging, and Week 25 has plenty of fixtures that can flip the table quickly. If you’re keeping score at home, compare your picks to theirs and see who’s closest by Monday night.

Share your Week 25 score predictions  and if you fancy a side game while you watch, Match Bingo is part of the weekly routine too. Whatever happens, it’s another weekend where every goal changes the story, especially for anyone chasing points at the top.
