Premier League Predictions Week 7: Bold Calls, Wolves Hopes, and Match Bingo Fun with Dave & Em

Who takes the bragging rights this week? Fresh from a lively live show, we’ve got all the Week 7 Premier League score picks, chat highlights, and a Wolves segment with a side of optimism. From Friday night under the lights to a tricky Sunday for the Bees against City, it is all here. Plus, a quick guide to playing Match Bingo on the Wolves game, with cash to be won.

Last Week’s Prediction Showdown: Team Dave Edges Ahead

The running battle between Team Dave and Team Emma stays tight. Dave took a narrow 3-2 win on weekly results, and on points he edged it 5-3 thanks to calling the 1-1 Wolves score exactly. That single exact score swung it, and he admits he’d rather the point came without the late equaliser. Emma had a rough card, but it is still very early in the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTIONS WEEK 7 WITH DAVE & EM

Friday Night Kickoff: Bournemouth vs Fulham

Bournemouth are strong at home and have made a tidy start. Fulham stumbled last time out and need a response. The call here is tight, with little to separate the sides if the Cherries control the tempo.

Predictions:

  • Emma: Bournemouth 2 Fulham 1
  • Dave: Bournemouth 1 Fulham 1

Leeds United vs Tottenham Hotspur

Elland Road is a tough place to go. Spurs have been a bit up and down and look draw-prone.

  • Emma: Leeds 1 Spurs 1
  • Dave: Leeds 1, Spurs 2

Arsenal vs West Ham

Arsenal are clear favourites at home. West Ham are still settling, and it is another away day test. Arsenal’s wide players and quick ball movement should tell.

  • Emma: Arsenal 2 West Ham 0
  • Dave: Arsenal 3 West Ham 1

Can the Gunners hammer the hammers? The viewers thought  so.

Manchester United vs Sunderland

Plenty called a United win, but the show’s panel saw banana-skin potential. There was a lot of to-and-fro before landing on a stalemate.

  • Emma: Manchester United 2 Sunderland 2
  • Dave: Manchester United 1 Sunderland 1

Why a draw feels right: United can switch off, and Sunderland often fight hard in these spots. The Red Devils vs Black Cats narrative adds spice, but the energy says even game.

Chelsea vs Liverpool

This one has classic written all over it. Chelsea lost to Brighton after going down to 10 men early in the second half, and Liverpool slipped to Palace. Both need a bounce.

  • Emma: Chelsea 2 Palace 2
  • Dave:  Chelsea 2 Palace 2

Recent form notes: Chelsea showed spirit while a man down. Liverpool mix brilliance with soft moments.

Aston Villa vs Burnley

Villa needed that last win and now look set to build on it. The mood is better and the crowd should carry them.

  • Emma: Villa 2 Burnley 1
  • Dave: Villa 2 Burnley 1

Everton vs Crystal Palace

Palace are on a storming run, and there is chat about a club record unbeaten stretch if they avoid defeat again. It tempted a draw, but edge-of-the-seat form says away win.

  • Emma: Everton 1 Palace 2
  • Dave: Everton 1 Palace 1

Record talk: runs do end, but Palace look lively. Everton need a clean start and better final-third choices to take something.

Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest

Newcastle look solid and organised. Forest, by contrast, have struggled since their coaching change and have not won since.

  • Emma: Newcastle 2 Forest 1
  • Dave: Newcastle 3 Forest 0

Short-term struggles: Forest need a structure reset and time. St James’ Park is a rough place to sort it out.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton have been a bogey side for Wolves, which makes this one even spicier. You can feel the nerves and the hope. The call from the couch is brave.

  • Emma: Wolves 2 Brighton 1
  • Dave: holds his pick back for his full match preview

Fan optimism: the fighting spirit is back. If Wolves start fast and keep shape out of possession, this can be the result that turns October into a positive run. For Dave’s full preview with Mr. Magic, subscribe and hit the bell on the channel.

Brentford vs Manchester City

Brentford gave a good account against Manchester United, but City are a different level. Pep’s side control games and punish mistakes.

  • Emma: Brentford 1 Manchester City 3
  • Dave: Brentford 0  Manchester City 2

City’s edge: Brentford are tidy and brave, but City move the ball too well. If Brentford get the first goal, we might see a grandstand finish. Otherwise, City’s class should show.

Q&A Highlights: Fan Questions and Wolves Insights

Scott asked whether a back four suits the current Wolves setup, or if a five is still needed.

The answer was balance. The team needs versatility, so being able to switch between four and five at the back is important. The four worked for much of the recent game, but the head coach was not fully happy, so in-game changes remain likely.

On the XI, there was a view that the Spurs starting template worked, with one notable tweak. Hwang may need a breather to reset. It is about sharpness and fit for the game plan, not writing anyone off.

Fun quick-fire

  • Ryder Cup: Emma does not do golf, but happy Europe beat the USA
  • Men in Black: no more sequels needed
  • Life on other planets: probably, the universe is too big for none
  • Favourite moment in a match: the final whistle when you have won
  • Wine: Merlot

Season hopes and the October target

After banking a point and showing fight, there is more belief. It is still early, and consistency is the word. The next mini-run matters: Brighton, Burnley, Sunderland. Targeting 7 points would lift the mood and the table. There was a tongue-in-cheek line that Wolves are now allowed to win again since August and September are out of the way. Either way, October needs to be kinder. Keep the faith.

Conclusion

Week 7 has something for everyone, from tight calls at the top to a Wolves tilt at Brighton that could set the tone for October. The prediction battle has Dave ahead, but only just, and one big weekend can swing it the other way.
