Week 33: Was It a Wipeout Win for Dave?

This week, Dave reigned supreme, achieving a decisive victory over Emma! Dave racked up an impressive 14 points, while Emma managed to secure only six. Emma’s total score sits at a respectable 223, but Dave is closing in fast!

What fueled Dave’s success? He nailed three “bang on” predictions: Everton 0 – City 2, West Ham 1 – Southampton 1, and Man City 2 – (again) Man City 1 (nailing the last-minute winner over Villa). Emma, unfortunately, had a tougher time predicting the unpredictable Premier League.

“I have absolutely…battered her!” Dave exclaimed, savouring his hard-earned triumph.

While the competition is fierce, there’s always room for good sportsmanship… and a clinking of cups!

Dave’s now set a new target: reaching 200 points in total predictions. Can he do it?

Premier League Predictions: Will Wolves Howl Their Way to Victory in Week 34?

Week 34 Predictions: Will Wolves Prevail?

Let’s dive into their predictions for Week 34:

Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace

    • Emma: Arsenal 2 – Crystal Palace 0
    • Dave: Arsenal 3 – Crystal Palace 0

Emma and Dave are backing the Gunners, but Dave’s going for a slightly more dominant win. With Arsenal’s strong squad depth and Palace potentially distracted by their FA Cup semi-final, a comfortable home victory seems likely.

Saturday’s Showdowns

Chelsea vs. Everton

    • Emma: Chelsea 2 – Everton 0
    • Dave: Chelsea 2 – Everton 1

Both agree Chelsea will win, but Dave thinks Everton might snag a goal. Chelsea are desperate for Champions League qualification, and Everton’s form has dipped recently.

Brighton vs. West Ham

    • Emma: Brighton 1 – West Ham 1
    • Dave: Brighton 2 – West Ham 0

A difference of opinion here! Emma’s predicting a draw, while Dave’s backing Brighton for the win. Brighton’s been inconsistent, and West Ham’s struggling. Could go either way!

Newcastle vs. Ipswich

    • Emma: Newcastle 3 – Ipswich 0
    • Dave: Newcastle 3 – Ipswich 0

A rare moment of complete agreement. Newcastle’s strong at home, and Ipswich are having a tough time. A comfortable win for the Magpies is on the cards.

Southampton vs. Fulham

    • Emma: Southampton 1 – Fulham 2
    • Dave: Southampton 1 – Fulham 2

Another consensus! Both predict a Fulham victory. Southampton are battling to avoid an unwanted record, but Fulham might just have the edge.

Wolves vs. Leicester

    • Emma: Wolves 2 – Leicester 0
    • Dave:  (To be revealed in the Match Preview)

Emma’s confident in a Wolves win, citing their solid defense and Leicester’s scoring problems. However, it’s important not to be complacent. Even though Leicester are having a bad year, they defended well against Liverpool.

If you’re heading to the Wolves game, don’t forget that Genting Wolverhampton offers 25% off food and drink with a match ticket! It’s a great spot to grab a pre-match meal or celebrate after the final whistle.

Sunday’s Battles

Bournemouth vs. Manchester United

    • Emma: Bournemouth 2 – Manchester United 1
    • Dave: Bournemouth 1 – Manchester United 1

Emma’s backing Bournemouth to take the points, while Dave’s predicting a draw. Manchester United have been inconsistent, and Bournemouth could cause an upset.

Liverpool vs. Tottenham

    • Emma: Liverpool 3 – Tottenham 1
    • Dave: Liverpool 3 – Tottenham 0

Both expect a Liverpool victory, but Dave’s going for a clean sheet. Liverpool are dominant, and Tottenham are…well, Spursy
