Wolves are reportedly bidding for Mateo Retegui a top scorer in the Argentine league. An agreement is in place for Retegui to sign for Genoa but there are reports in Argentina that Wolves are looking to hijack the deal. There have been several clubs linked with him including our local rivals Aston Villa. Retegui scored 30 goals in 40 appearances for Tigre on loan from. Boca Juniors , he’s 24 played for Argentina under 20’s but made his full International debut for Italy in March scoring 2 in 3 appearances. Ryan Giles has not travelled with the rest of the Wolves team for the friendly in Portugal amid interest from Middlesborough and Luton. Reports indicate that Ryan may leave on a permanent deal for just £5m plus add on clauses.

There, the scouts watched the friendly between Sporting and Genk to keep an eye on forward Youssef Chermiti.
