WOLVES FANS SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS ON WOLVES PERFORMANCE IN THE DEFEAT TO BRIGHTON
TYLER PRICE
Really poor performance, I tried to pick out a man of the match worthy mention but I am really struggling. Most likely choice Andre, played until he couldn’t move and that deserves credit.
Had a proper end of season feeling to it today and it was frustrating. Cunha was embarrassing and we missed Larsen’s clinical edge with him and Jean Ricner Bellegarde benched due to injury and when he was subbed on he received no service because we were extremely lacklustre in both defensive and offensive positions.
In a more positive light it was nice to see Mane get his debut and I’d like another cameo before the season ends.
Oh well, up the Wolves and onwards and upwards for next season 🤞🐺

Second half was like watching paint dry. In truth we look tired. Brighton just shut the game down.
We’ve seen us do the exact same to many a side recently, but today was the first time for while that we’ve seen a proper job done tactically on Vitor Pereira.
Can have no excuses really, Brighton were the better side and were better set up from about 10-15 minutes onwards.
After going ahead they managed the game and it panned out exactly as they wanted it to, we had no answer, no way to shift the tide.
Vitor tried with the 4 subs in one, but it was too much too soon in retrospect. Changing almost half the side at once always stands a good chance of going horribly wrong. And if anything we looked even more disjointed/incoherent after that.
Not one that will last long in the memory.

From the start Brighton played the high line. Guedes had a couple of chances which were wasted but overall we were second best to the ball.
In the 22nd minute Brighton scored but VAR ruled it offside. Just a few minutes later they won a penalty after a poor tackle by Cunha. I don’t know why he was so deep.

Vitor watched a Wolves team today that didn’t meet the standard of play we’ve seen in recent weeks. Maybe it was due to fatigue,
Wolves struggled against Brighton’s high press and had trouble playing out from the back—something that’s cost us in previous games as well. This led to us conceding a goal from a penalty and falling behind once again.
Today’s performance was below what Wolves fans expect, especially after our unbeaten run. We needed to be more clinical in front of goal, but our finishing let us down. Brighton seemed to want it more, and while we showed some intensity in the second half after Vitor’s four substitutions, we still couldn’t find the net.
Brighton sealed their win late on, and once again, we struggled against a team that’s been a problem for us at home.
Vitor now needs to lift the group and get Wolves back to his standards for the final two games. We must improve our finishing and test the opposition keeper more. Today, our performance rating was 3.5 out of 10, though it could’ve been even lower. The standout was Ait Nouri, who worked hard across the pitch and always looked to create chances or take shots on goal.
Let’s keep the faith, Wolves fans. We’re in this together for the rest of the season, no matter what happens.
