Really disappointing result.
Looked more and more tired and out of ideas as the game wore on.
Damage was done in giving ourselves a mountain to climb not once but twice. Can’t be that switched off from the kick off, and then yet again from the restart second half. A real strength under Pereira has been our ability to learn quickly from our mistakes, not tonight.
All that momentum built in the first half was lost in an instant. Have to manage games better- got exactly what we deserved in that respect. Naive.
Felt the substitutions, particularly Sarabia, could’ve come sooner. The way the game was shaping up Strand Larsen was never going to be able to impact it much. Was always going to need someone who could pick the lock as Fulham retreated deeper and deeper.
In fairness we lacked options from the bench really and Fulham were stronger after their changes, the game had gone in that respect. We let them get in poll position.
Think we saw the downside tonight of this very physical squad we’ve built. It will likely be enough to see us safe but with Cunha off it we saw how limited we can look from a technical point of view. Games like tonight are when you need that bit of magic most.
Perhaps a reality check. The job isn’t done yet and games aren’t won on paper. While this looks a more favourable run of games, tonight was a cold hard reminder there can be no room for complacency.
One game too many perhaps but we need to put this behind us quickly. All eyes back on Ipswich and Leicester on a night many were expecting some daylight to be put between us and them.
We never make it easy do we?

What could be said about this performance?
After the joy of winning against Bournemouth, we followed it with a dreadful display from the start. A mistake in the first minute gave Fulham too much space, allowing an unmarked player to shoot and score.
After conceding the opening goal, we fought back into the game with plenty of possession and ball retention in our attacking play. We managed to get back into the game with a goal from Joao Gomes, which was better play overall.
However, while we played reasonably well, Fulham outperformed us. They used the same formation as us, which raised questions about whether we continue to struggle against teams with identical setups, much like in the past. At times in the first half, we were repeatedly exposed on the left-hand side. Our defending was questionable, and our finishing lacked the clinical edge needed to trouble their goalkeeper.
Vitor clearly had issues in this game, and he needed to find solutions to address the ongoing problems.
The second half started poorly yet again, as we conceded an early goal. Once more, our defence lacked discipline, leaving us vulnerable and needing urgent fixes. While we kept attacking Fulham and created chances, our finishing and overall creativity in the second half were abysmal. The only player who consistently tried was Cunha, although even he showed signs of frustration at times.
We were caught out by numerous Fulham attacks, and it seemed likely they would score again. This performance was a missed opportunity to extend our lead over the bottom three to eight points. It was especially frustrating to lose at home to a team that had never beaten us in the Premier League at Molineux, marking their first win there in 40 years.
Wolves will need to address these issues quickly. If these problems persist, we may face another difficult period, slipping back toward the bottom three—a situation we desperately need to avoid.
