6 (six) in a row. Largely lost for words, there’s something special brewing here. Pereira is genuinely poised to catapult the whole stature of our club.
Things don’t click like this very often- for anyone, hence so many clubs are in a permanent state of transition. We must build on this foundation at all costs. Strike now, because I’m convinced he’s the man that could smash us through the glass ceiling.
From a man management point of view he is an absolute joke- Cunha, despite everything going on, was instrumental. That’s down to the manager getting his head in the right place for the football. Bittersweet though, because however we dress it a player of Matheus’ sublime quality will be sorely missed.
Up to 13th, and now even the gap to 11th/12th looks reachable. Squad all of a sudden looks absolutely teeming with quality, options off the bench today totally ripped Leicester apart in the last 20. Confidence and clarity of instruction on display for all to see. As dominant as I’ve seen us in the Premier League, toyed with them for a period in the latter stages.
Replace Cunha effectively and get Pereira on a long term contract and we could be mainstays in Europe over the next half decade. Genuinely. Summer is huge.

Vitor Pereira, what you’ve done with this team is truly remarkable. You took us from a bottom-three side to 13th place in a short time.
Today, we played a level of football that was good. We played deep to let Leicester have their moments, but our defence held strong to keep them out.
There were moments when Cunha was telling Ait Nouri to keep the ball on the pitch. Once he said that, the team started pressing well. This led to the first goal, which Cunha scored. Whether this raises his value as a player, time will tell.
As the first half went on, our attacking play began to show its potential. Vitor will be happy with that, though sometimes it wasn’t quite the level he wanted. We’ll see more of it as the game develops and our press gets stronger.
We passed the ball well and created good attacking chances. At times, we were unplayable.
This is important against teams we need to beat, especially since we have struggled for results in the past.
The second half started much like the first, with us showing more control and aggression. That’s what you get from a Vitor side.
Cunha was on a mission today, helping set up goals for his teammates. Strand Larsen also got involved.
We eased off for a bit and gave Leicester a chance or two, including a missed penalty. Looking at it, the penalty call was soft, but I won’t say more on that.
Cunha finished with another assist, making his performance complete. He’s a clear contender for man of the match.
This win gives us six in a row, something we haven’t done since the 1970/1971 season. It’s a great time to be a Wolves fan with results like these under Vitor.
PAM WELLS
Could we win and make it a clean sweep in April with six in a row? Come on, boys, we can do it!
The game started with us in complete control. We had a few close chances but lacked luck. We played really well, and in the 33rd minute Cunha scored a great goal to put us ahead. We combined well as a team, which was great to see.
More of the same in the second half. We started the second half much like the first.
Ait Nouri sent a great cross to Larsen, who just needed to tap it in, but he missed. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be a game of missed chances. Luckily, Larsen didn’t take long to fix things. Andre cleared the ball from our half to Cunha, who then set up Larsen. He nutmegged Coady and scored in the 77th minute.
Vardy, who had been kept quiet by a strong defensive effort, went down in the box, and the referee gave a penalty. It seemed obvious that Vardy went into Sa’s leg looking for it. Vardy took the penalty, but Sa went the right way and made a good save.
We regained full control. Cunha made a run down the left and passed to Rodrigo Gomes, who scored our third goal.
Wow, we’ve won all our April games and now six in a row.
A brilliant team performance.
It’s hard to pick a man of the match because they all played well, but I’ll give it to Cunha for his goal and two assists.
Performance rating: 9.
So proud of this team.
Let’s see how we do next week against City.
