GET THE LOWDOWN ON WOLVES PLAYERS CALLED UP FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THIS INTERNATIONAL BREAK
Pablo Sarabia has been selected to play for his country this weekend, along with nine other Wolves first-team players. This is the first time Pablos has been called up while playing for Wolves. Spain will be facing Colombia at the London Stadium and Brazil at the Santiago Bernabeu as part of their preparations for Euro 2024.
Wolves also have a strong presence in the Portugal squad, with Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo, and Toti making the cut. Roberto Martinez’s team will be playing friendlies against Sweden in Guimaraes and Slovenia in Ljubljana.
Republic of Ireland’s interim head coach, John O’Shea, has included Matt Doherty in the squad for the friendlies against Belgium and Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Tom King will be representing Wales in the Euro 2024 play-offs, with a semi-final against Finland in Cardiff. If they win, they’ll proceed to the final against Poland or Estonia, also in Cardiff.
Joao Gomes could make his Brazil debut against England in a friendly at Wembley before facing Spain next week.
Rayan Ait-Nouri, who scored two goals in a row for Wolves, is now with Algeria for friendlies against Bolivia and South Africa.
Mario Lemina has been called up by Gabon for friendlies against Senegal and Congo.
