LOUIE LEFEVRE & BLACKPOOL WOLF SHARE THE LATEST NEWS ON WOLVES LOANEES

As tables start to take shape at home and across Europe we take a look at this week’s loan report. Currently there are 14 Wolves players out on loan and this weekend they have accumulated the most minutes in a weekend so far this season with a combined total of 691 minutes (Not including injury time but including Friday nights games).

Hugo Bueno – Feyenoord – Eredivisie
Hugo Bueno was back in action this week after shaking off a knock that had left him out of Feyenoord’s match day squad last week. The Spanish left back started this weekend’s 1-1 away draw to NEC Nijmegen on the bench but he was the first substitute to be used by Feyenoord after 57 minutes. The 1-1 draw leaves Feyenoord 6th in the Eredivisie and still unbeaten after 6 games (2 wins 4 draws) this was Bueno’s second appearance of the season.

Marvin Kaleta – Motherwell – Scottish Premiership
Marvin Kaleta started Motherwell’s 2-1 home victory over St Mirren on the bench. The game saw both sides reduced to 10 men and 25 fouls committed which forced the hand of both managers to change formations early in the second half. This gave Kaleta the chance to come on after 70minutes, Kaleta failed to really get into the game but Motherwell managed to hold and win the game. Motherwell are now 4th in the Scottish Premier League with 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats.

Dexter Lembikisa – Yverdon Sports – Swiss Super League
Dexter Lembikisa didn’t get off to the best start in his debut last week after being subbed off after only 33 minutes in Yverdon’s 3-1 defeat to Lausanne. He paid the price this week as wasn’t even selected in Yverdon Sports 1-0 home victory of St Gallen this weekend. Yverdon Sports are now 9th out of 12th in the Swiss Super League after picking up only their second win in 8 League games.

Chiquinho – RCD Mallorca – La Liga
Chiquinho played two games this week for Mallorca on Monday night he came on with 14 minutes to go with the scores level away to Real Betis. Mallorca were able to score an injury time winner to keep up Mallorca’s impressive start to the season. On Friday Mallorca made it 2 wins out of 2 this week with yet another 2-1 victory this time away to Valladolid. Once again Chiquinho came onto the field with around 15 minutes to go. Mallorca are currently 5th in La Liga after winning their last 3 games.

Fabio Silva – UD Las Palmas – La Liga
Once dubbed a wonderkind Silva is struggling to make any real impact for La Liga’s bottom side Las Palmas. Silva played 75 minutes of Las Palmas 1-1 draw on Thursday night at home to Real Betis. Silva found himself 1 on 1 with Real Betis Goalkeeper Rui Silva after less than 2 minutes on the clock but he was unable to convert the chance, Rui Silva saving with his legs. Trying to get into the game Fabio Silva found himself dropping deeper and deeper and was unable to be involved in any of Las Palmas attacking phases which resulted in him being substituted with 15 minutes to go. Fabio Silva could be back in action as Las Palmas travel to 6th place Villarreal tonight.

Nathan Fraser – S.V Zulte Waregem – Belgian First Division B
Nathan Fraser has had a frustrating time in Belgium so far this season with 6 League games gone Fraser has only managed to pick up 16 minutes of first team football over two games and it was a similar story this weekend. Fraser was an unused substitute in Zulte Waregem 3-2 away victory over bottom side RSCA Futures. The results lifted Zulte Waregem to second in the league with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in their opening 6 games.

Ki-Jana Hoever – Auxerre – Ligue 1
Ki-Jana Hoever is enjoying valuable game time in France after returning from suspension last week. The Dutch right back played 80 minutes in Auxerre’s dominant 3-0 victory over Brest on Friday night. This was Auxerre’s second victory of the season having returned to the top flight as Champions after a one year absence.

Joe Hodge and Nigel Lonwijk – Huddersfield – EFL League One
The young Wolves duo both played 90 minutes midweek when Huddersfield lost 2-0 at home to Blackpool but Hodge only got 8 minutes in the subsequent 2-1 loss away to Reading. Lonwijk got the full 90 again but yet another bad week for Huddersfield who slip right down the league and out of the play-off places into 10th . Joe Hodge did receive man of the match for Huddersfield in the Blackpool game.

Chem Campbell – Reading – EFL League One
Campbell was on the other side of Reading’s 2-1 win over Huddersfield over the weekend and played 70 minutes before being replaced by Adrian Akande. Reading now climb to 15th in League One with Saturday’s positive result at the Select Car leasing stadium but Campbell’s starting place has come under question from some Reading fans.

Lucas Kibrya – Wolverhampton Casuals – Midlands Football League Premier Division
Kibrya was an unused substitute in Wolverhampton Casuals 5-0 loss to Hednesford Town in the Walsall Senior Cup but did make a return to the starting eleven for the 1-1 draw with 1874 Northwich. A good result to grab a draw with 2nd in the league but the Cassies are bottom of the Midland Football League premier division.

George Hardy – Highgate United F.C – Midlands Football League Premier Division
Hardy was back in action this week after having the last off. He played the full match in goal for Highgate United as they beat Uttoxeter Town 3-2. Highgate are three places above Kirbya and Wolverhampton Casuals, with Hardy’s side sitting in 15th place of the MFL Premier. Saturday’s result was Highgate’s first win of September.

James Storer – Darlaston Town (1874) FC – Northern Premier League
Darlaston boss Dean Gill was full of praise last week for Storer and how well the goalkeeper had adapted to non-league and even more positive words were due this week when Darlaston beat Loughborough Students 3-0 with Storer keeping his 7th clean sheet of the campaign. After 8 games Darlaston are 8th in the Northern Premier League Midland division with Storer more than playing his part.

Tyler Roberts – A.F.C Fylde – National League

Roberts was subbed on for just over 20 minutes in Fylde’s midweek 2-1 loss to Tamworth. Roberts picked up his first yellow card of the season as his side were sunk by a last-minute winner. Another substitute appearance followed when he got on the pitch for the last ten minutes in a 2-0 loss to Barnet. Fylde are now 22nd in the National League.

Tawanda Chirewa – Derby County – EFL Championship
Chirewa made his debut when he played the last 20 minutes of an epic Championship clash between Derby and Norwich. Chirewa was unfortunately on the wrong side of the scoreline as Norwich won 3-2 with a Borja Sainz hat-trick as Chirewa also received his first yellow card of the season. Derby are 13th in the Championship.
