Wolves: Sá, Doherty, Santi, Bueno, Dawson, Semedo, André, Joao Gomes, Ait Nouri, Bellegarde, Hwang, Cunha.
Wolves made some changes as players are likely tired, and fatigue can set in.
Tottenham kicked off, but nothing happened in the first five minutes. Wolves came into this game after a great start under Vítor Pereira—two games, two wins, five goals scored, and none conceded. Wolves hoped for another positive result, but Tottenham can be unpredictable. They can play very well or very poorly. They are certainly an entertaining side to watch! The first 15 to 20 minutes are key.
In the seventh minute, Wolves got a free kick.
GOAL! Hwang scored a lovely goal from a set piece off the training ground!
Spurs used Kulusevski to try and cause trouble for Wolves’ Rayan Ait Nouri. On a few occasions, it seemed to work, with Spurs getting balls into the box.
In the 12th minute, Spurs won a corner.
GOAL! Bentancur scored from a situation Wolves had struggled to defend under Gary O’Neil. A set piece! Dawson is unfortunately to blame.
In the 25th minute, Wolves won a corner but gained nothing from it other than Tottenham winning a foul off Bellegarde.
In the 33rd minute, Wolves had possession and controlled the game, keeping Spurs fans quiet. They tried to feed players in, finding little pockets out wide to get crosses into the box.
In the 41st minute, a PENALTY was awarded to Tottenham.
André gave it away, fouling Johnson.
SAVED! Sá denied Son’s attempt to the right side.
In the 45+3 minute…
GOAL! Johnson scored. No one picked up Johnson’s run into the box, and he punished Wolves.
HALF TIME: Tottenham 2-1 Wolves.
Second half:
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Bellegarde off, Guedes on.
Cunha off, Larsen on.
A worry for Wolves as Cunha is off.
Wolves kicked off the second half, but Spurs won the ball, maintaining possession while Wolves kept their shape.
In the 53rd minute, Semedo went down with a head injury for a couple of minutes, worrying Vítor Pereira and Wolves fans. Thankfully, Semedo is okay.
Wolves got a free kick for a foul on Guedes, but nothing came of it.
Wolves kept the pressure on, and Spurs weren’t troubling them too much.
In the 68th minute, a SUBSTITUTION: André off, Doyle on.
Wolves tried to use Doyle just behind the back three to push up and spread balls to the wide players upfront. Larsen held the ball up at times too.
In the 77th minute, another SUBSTITUTION: Hwang off, Forbs on.
Dawson off, Rodrigo on.
Wolves controlled the game, trying to get an equaliser.
GOAL! LARSEN! 86TH MINUTE!!
It looked like Wolves were going to get a point, feeling they deserved something from the game.
The 90th minute came along, and there were eight minutes of added time.
Spurs tried everything to get a winner, but nothing came of it.
FULL TIME: Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 Wolves.
A deserved point.

The performance against Spurs was good. In the second half, we were without Cunha, so it was great to see us get a point without him.
