LOUIE LEFEVRE BRINGS YOU THE LATEST NEWS ON WOLVES U18S IN THE FA YOUTH CUP

Wolves enter the FA Youth Cup in the third round and discovered they would play the winners of Eastleigh vs AFC Wimbledon when the draw took place on Friday 15th.

That second round tie took place yesterday evening at Silverlake Stadium where Wimbledon secured a 6-0 victory to confirm themselves as our opponents in the next round.

The Dons were drawn as the home side and also beat Sutton United in the first round to get this far. Wolves were eliminated from the competition at this stage last season, coming out on the wrong side of a penalty shootout with QPR at Molineux.

A date, time and venue for the fixture will be confirmed soon but Wolves fans are likely in for a trip to Plough Lane. Ed Leach will be the player to watch for the London-based club as the winger scored two goals in the thrashing of Eastleigh.

Supporters can also catch the Wolves U18s tonight when they travel to Boldmere St. Michaels in the Birmingham Senior Cup. Admission is £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and U16s get in free. There is no age cap on the tournament so expect some U21 players to also feature, particularly since they have no fixture this week.
