FINLEY SMITH GIVES HIS PLAYER RATINGS FOR WOLVES VS MAN CITY

JOSE SA 8.5

Was brilliant. Multiple saves kept Wolves well in the game. Had a point to prove after returning to the side. My man of the match.

RAYAN AIT-NOURI 7

Did well marking Savhino and prevented him from getting inside too much to create chances.

TOTI 7

He was solid in the back three. Worked well with Dawson and Santi, looked comfortable and had a good game.

CRAIG DAWSON 8

Had a fantastic game marking Haaland and limiting his chances of scoring. His communication was also excellent.

SANTIAGO BUENO 7

Was also great in the back five. He was solid, just like the other two, working well and frustrating Man City.

NELSON SEMEDO 8.5

Did not let Doku get inside too much. Strong performance. 💪

ANDRE 7

Showed lots of energy and passion. Played well, putting pressure on the opponents.

MARIO LEMINA 7

Had a much better game today. Made himself strong and tried to carry us out of dangerous moments. Credit where it’s due.

JOAO GOMES 7.5

Showed hunger, energy and passion. Put pressure on them as well. Did well in tight situations.

MATHEUS CUNHA 7

Wasn’t too involved in the game as he didn’t have much width, but did his best.

JORGEN STRAND LARSEN 7.5

A lovely finish and held his own against top defenders. Not much more he could do. Another goal to add to the tally.

SUBSTITUTES

Doyle 6.5
Forbs 6.5
Guedes 6
Bellegarde N/A
All tried to bring some attacking threat and width to the side.

MY THOUGHTS

We expected a thrashing but played brilliantly. Good defensive shape frustrated Manchester City.
The last goal, in my opinion, should not have stood. Corruption once again.
