We’ve all been waiting to hear if João Moutinho would commit to staying with Wolves for another season and finally an extra year has been confirmed.
There has been concern that Moutinho wanted a 2 year deal and Wolves would only offer 1 and whether this would lead to Moutinho looking for the move.
Joao signed from Monaco for £5m in July 2018 and has been a key influence in the dressing room with his professionalism and work ethic. He has inspired team mates and was a key player that Bruno Lage wanted to pin down.
Moutinho will fly back into England to return to first-team training on Wednesday, with the club understood to be delighted at retaining one of their key players.
