WE TAKE A LOOK AT THE TRANSFER GOSSIP & RUMOURS FOR WOLVES
After losing Nathan Collins to Brentford earlier this month, Wolves are looking to bring in a new centre back. Wolves are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Nico Elvedi as a replacement. The two clubs have been in talks to bring Elvedi to Wolverhampton for the upcoming season and it is anticipated Elvedi will leave Monchengladbach for less than £10 million given he just has one year left on his contract. Elvedi joined Monchengladbach in 2015 after leaving FC Zurich of Switzerland. He has made 270 appearances for the Bundesliga club, scoring 14 and assisting nine in that period.
According to Tom Collomosse both Luton and Middlesborough are eyeing up a move for Ryan Giles, Collomosse says he could be sold for just £5m. Wolves fans so far have indicated that the fee is unrealistic and he could well get his opportunity in Wolves first team.
Wolves have been negotiating with Bristol City for the sale of midfielder Alex Scott, a second bid of £22m has been rejected but it’s thought Wolves are keen to secure the youngster with Lopetegui completely behind the move as he believes he can have a significant impact in the Premier League. The Telegraph report that Wolves are likely to submit a third bid. Scott is known as the “Guernsey Grealish” and has two years left on his contract and the 19 year old played the second half of City’s pre-season friendly against Torquay on Saturday afternoon.
Dion Sanderson left Wolves on a permanent deal to join Birmingham City The transfer fee is undisclosed but is thought to be around £2m, Matt Hobbs has said that Wolves have managed to protect themselves with a sell on clause in the contract.
Matt Doherty is also thought to be an imminent signing and is available on a free transfer.

We didn’t “lose” Collins to Brentford, we sold him, willingly. This highlights the 3rd move in 3 years, stoke to Burnley, Burnley to wolves and now wolves to Brentford, to me this suggests he either had an attitude problem or was causing friction in the changing room.
I don’t think Giles should be let go for £5m, considering his contributions for Middlesborough last year his value should be double that or more, Imagine what value the press would put on him if he was a top six loanee.

Good money for Collins let’s hope they bring n a good replacement. As for Ryan Giles would rather see him given a chance than let him go for £5m. Thanks for your comments, it’s good to hear from you.

Ryan should be given a chance at the club, £5m is way to low £10m/£15m with add-on’s and a selling clause should be added.
Why go out and spend millions on a full back/wing back when we already have one – Ryan Giles, still just goes to show Shi’s direction sell, sell, sell, he should leave before Ryan
