NICK PARKES SHARES HIS PLAYER RATINGS FOR WOLVES PERFORMANCE AGAINST FULHAM, A FIRST AWAY WIN IN 9 MONTHS!

Jose Sa 7

Very comfortable game and was quick off his line. Focused and seems full of confidence.

Nelson Semedo 7.5

Looked a threat going forward and solid at the back overall. Got beaten in the build-up for Fulham’s goal, but other than that, another impressive performance

Mario Lemina 8

Didn’t look out of place at centre back, looked dominant, and his passing ability was a major asset. Great ball for his assist and won the ball back for Wolves’s fourth. Could this be the start of a new Coady?

Toti 8

Very impressive performance against an in-form Raul. Did lose his man when the former Wolves player hit the bar, but apart from that, a strong and assured performance. Muscled the ball back for Wolves’s third goal.

Rayan Ait-Nouri 7

Both brilliant and reckless on the ball. At fault for Fulham’s goal, but was a threat going forward. Looked more assured and focused defensively in the second half. Cleared a few back post crosses well.

Rodrigo Gomes 7.5

Made his second start and grew into the game. Not a natural defender and was caught out at times, but showed his class in attack. Was a thorn in Fulham’s side and linked up well with Ait-Nouri. Definitely a talent

Andre 8

The partnership with Joao worked well. Nullified Fulham’s dangerous attackers and even forced the Fulham boss into substituting their two best midfielders. Was a rock in the second half, allowing Wolves to break up play and push players forward.

Joao Gomes 9

Cunha will get the headlines, and rightly so, but this man’s performance was superb. Joao Gomes at his best. Won the ball back constantly, harried their midfield, one assist, and one well-taken goal.

Bellegarde 6

A fairly quiet game overall but better in the second half. Turned into prime Neymar in the corner and was part of the build-up for a fantastic second goal. Ran into trouble at times

Matheus Cunha 9.5 Man of the Match

Loved by his manager and adored by supporters; give this man the keys to the city. Another unbelievable performance from a man in-form. Two beautiful goals and an assist capped off a top performance. Ten goal involvements so far this season!

Jorgen Strand Larsen 6.5

Can’t fault his effort or energy but lacked involvement throughout the game. Needed to hold the ball up better and choose better options with the ball at his feet. Did manage to get an assist late on, which will do him good.

Subs

Guedes – came on late but managed to get on the scoresheet. Finished well to cap a brilliant day in the capital. – 7

Pond – n/a – good to see the young man make his Premier League debut.

Doherty – n/a

Hwang – n/a – great to see him back on the pitch; hopefully, goals and assists will follow.

Doyle – n/a
