Was left at times by Nunes to deal with two on one but did well worked well with nNnes going forward.
MAX KILMAN - 8
Looks steady and comfortable on the ball with Dawson alongside him, made some great forward carries with ball to start some attacks
CRAIG DAWSON - 8
Steady rock for us again, he really is Mr Dependable for us with some body on the line blocks again, he gives so much more to the other three defenders in the way of confidence.
MARIO LEMINA - 8
Mario is more a Rolls Royce than a Ford Cortina, gives us so much strength in midfield nearly scored with a screamer too!
TOTI GOMES - 8
Great performance again , he has been a revelation since coming into the side, should have been awarded a penalty when fouled
JOAO GOMES - 8
All action and crucially ball winning for us and able to get the ball moving offensively got booked early but didn’t let that detract from his game.
PABLO SARABIA - 7
Made some good interplays moving forward and moved the ball forward at times but he was a little tardy in his ability to cover Toti when we were being attacked
MATHEUS CUNHA - 7
Had some great interplay with Costa and some brilliant one twos and runs to go forward i don’t think he is completely settled and there is more to come from him.
MATHEUS NUNES - 8
Great game, great movement and drive to set up Hwang’s goal, last two games he has looked the player we hoped he would be when we payed the big money in the Summer.
DIEGO COSTA - 9 & MAN OF THE MATCH
Made Brentford’s normally frugal back line look like boys at times, he ran everywhere he put them under so much pressure they couldn’t handle him, got a deserved goal by forcing the ball into the net with a block type movement

HWANG HEE-CHAN 8
Lopetegui is using Hwang perfectly, he is coming in and forcing the game into the opponents own half he presses high and again got the goal due to this.
JOAO MOUTINHO 7
Came on and steadied the ship as he has done in the last few games, manager is using him well at the moment
Adama Traore and Hugo Bueno came on towards the end didn’t really have time to make a rating but contributed none the less.
