NICK PARKES RATES WOLVES PLAYERS PERFORMANCE AGAINST WEST BROM AT THE HAWTHORNS

JOSE SA 7

A fairly quiet game for Jose but did well when called upon. Saved what had to be saved but wasn’t troubled too much.

NELSON SEMEDO 7

Looked to be attacking when given the opportunity and did his job well defensively.

MAX KILMAN 8

Made a crucial intervention to deny the Baggies man an easy tap in and also provided an assist for Cunha. Solid game from the captain.

CRAIG DAWSON 7

Not the most popular chap in the stadium but did well under pressure. Did what had to be done well without any real fuss.

TOTI GOMES 6

Although he improved 2nd half, he was found wanting and out of position on several occasions in the first 45.

MATT DOHERTY 7

Similar to Toti that he improved in the first half as Albion looked to target his side and was caught out of position several times but did provide the key interception and pass for the first goal. Great awareness.

MARIO LEMINA 6.5

A typical workhorse shift from the fan’s favourite but didn’t really impact the game much.

TOMMY DOYLE 8

Another great outing for he in-form Doyle. At the heart of most wolves did both attacking and defensively. Matched up to their heavy midfield well and really impressed.

PEDRO NETO 7.5

Give this man space and he will hurt you and he did just that. A brilliant run from right to centre to then slot the ball home to give Wolves a crucial lead. Loved the celebration to match. Apart from that, didn’t really impact the game too much.

JEAN-RICNER BELLEGARDE 6.5

Similar to Neto in that he had one bright moment where he almost scored but apart from that didn’t really cause West Brom problems. He is not a number 9 and I feel for him as it will impact fans views on him before long.

MATHEUS CUNHA 8

Impossible not to love this guy! Gave 110% again for the team in a match that he seems to understand the importance. Came short a lot to counter the packed West Brom midfield but looked dangerous in attack and took his goal beautifully in front of the joyous Wolves fans. Stuff dreams are made of! Almost had another late on but denied by a great save
