A relatively average performance. I thought his positioning for the second goal could’ve been better, but he did make a few good stops.

Not Toti’s best performance for sure. Didn’t make any large errors yet seemed uncomfortable at the back. His few darting sprints with the ball into midfield are promising.
MAX KILMAN 4.5
Not good at all from our captain. Arguably at fault for Diaby’s Opener and countless aimless balls up the pitch. He’s been off it for a while now.
santi bueno 5.5
Very similar to Toti in terms of being forgettable. Missed a few important tackles, but also was strong at times.
RAYAN AIT-NOURI 6.5
As always, we can rely on Rayan’s skillfull dribbling to get us out of a tough spot, and he proves that again today. However, a lack of defensive strength and obviously that horrendous miss in the first half caps him at a 6.5.
NELSON SEMEDO 8 & MAN OF THE MATCH
I really enjoyed Nelson’s play today. Consistently seemed to be our best option going forward. His space creation, dribbling and speed were fantastic up against Alex Moreno. His final decision making was sometimes questionable but he looked very good.
JOAO GOMES 6.5
Not a Joao masterclass I think we would’ve needed to win this sort of game. His performance was below his standard yet wasn’t horrendous.
TOMMY DOYLE 6.5
Thought he played decently. I noticed his ability to find a man in space on the counterattack was very effective in the first half. Had a good chance to score if only he hit the target, other than that nothing really fell to him.
PABLO SARABIA 5
Didn’t like what I saw from Pablo today. Gave the ball away countless times and didn’t seem like a danger to the Villa defence at any point in the game.
MARIO LEMINA 6
I sympathise with Mario as he’s being forced to play out of position during this injury crisis. Wasn’t our worst player but wasn’t our best.
LEON CHIWOME 5.5
Also sympathise with the debutant. Had absolutely no service. Sometimes felt like Sarabia was going out of his way not to give him the ball at times.
SUBSTITUTES
Hugo Bueno – 6 – Made some nice attacking runs, other than that very forgettable
