Couldn’t do much with the free kick near the end of the first half. He hadn’t been involved much in the game till then, kept us in the game for the rest of the time with no issues.

What you get with Doc, a player who puts in a shift in a position he is not used to but it seems he’s relishing the new position and is doing well.

Santi Bueno 7

Played well in the game but was unhappy with the goal conceded, but we were back in control of the game second half without any difficulties.

Emmanuel Agbadou 7

Had a nervy start in the first few minutes of the game but soon started to settle into the game playing in the left side of the back 3. Had his moments in the second half but soon got them sorted out quickly, overall good performance on his debut.

Rayan Ait Nouri 8

Got the opening goal of the game by with a header. Played with  confidence finding positions on the pitch and saved us a goal near the end being at the far post another great performance.

Rodrigo Gomes 8 (player of the match)

Got his second goal under the Vitor Pereira stewardship , playing in a Right wing back position. Rodrigo is showing the form he did in preseason and needs to be kept in the side, he can offer us something different in the starting XI.

Joao Gomes 7.5

Provides a great cross to the far post for the opening goal and played well , another great performance.

Andre 7.5

Came back into the side to play with J Gomes where they link well together a bit guilty of conceding silly fouls other than that he played well solid performance 

Gonçalo Guedes 7

Had an eventful game, having numerous chances and could have had a hatful of goals, needs to be more clinical in front of goal.

Jorgen Strand Larsen 7

Helped in the move along with Guedes to get the second goal of the game but he needs more touches of the ball and was hungry to score a goal.

Hee Chan Hwang 5.5

Conceded a free kick near the end of the first half to allow the home side back into the game. Had a chance in second half of the game but he ballooned it over the bar otherwise it was a bad day at the office nothing much happened for him.

Came on for Hwang, Welcome back to the team after injury, had a chance in the game but he hit the post.

Came on for Guedes didn’t see much of him just came on the field to see the game out.

Came on for Rodrigo Gomes to defend our side for the last moments of the game.

Came on for Rayan Ait Nouri didn’t have much to do in his cameo performance.

Played a 3-4-3 formation today which worked very well with good press, intensity and integrity in the side will be pleased with the performance today starting to show a balanced shaped side getting his management style into the team, getting close to his chosen XI for the league games.
