Did well defensively against a team who caused us a lot of issues. Got some important blocks in and tackled well when needed.

Not his most composed performance of late but did the basics well and looked to push forward when he had the chance.
Rayan Ait-Nouri 7
Great cross for the assist in the first half but lacked ambition in the second.
Mario Lemina 6.5
Not his strongest performance in a more advanced position. Not his fault but he left far too much space in the centre for Sheffield to run into.
Joao Gomes 6
As predicted, not the type of game where he shines and seemed to be dragged out to places he didn’t want to be.
Pablo Sarabia 7 & Man of the Match
Great finish for the only goal of the game. Apart from that he didn’t impact the game much and was sloppy in possession at times in the second half.
Hwang Hee-Chan 5.5
Didn’t look up to the pace of the game and was weak in position. Needed to make more runs in behind instead of being a hold up forward. Needs more game time and the goals will return.
Pedro Neto 6.5
Looked influential in the first half but struggled in the second especially with giving the ball away too often. Not his best performance

Didn’t impact the game in which we expected or needed but no worse than the rest.
