wolves fan Neil Taylor is off on another crazy challenge all in order to raise funds for Birmingham children's hospital.

You’ve likely heard about the crazy Wolf who raises crucial funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. To date, Neil has raised an impressive £220,000 for this worthy cause over the years. This year is no different, with Neil running the London Landmarks before heading to Morocco to conquer Toubkal Mountain on the 9th of May. Toubkal stands as the highest peak in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains and across the Arab world.

Neil’s daughter Kiahna was born with a life-threatening heart condition and was immediately placed under the care of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she underwent five major heart surgeries, three of which occurred before she reached six months of age. Neil feels an immense debt of gratitude for the care Kiahna received. While nothing can truly repay the debt to the hospital for saving her life, Neil has been tirelessly raising much-needed funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital ever since.

Initially, Neil, the co-owner of the Fox at Shipley, started by organizing charity sportsman evenings to raise funds, but this quickly evolved into some crazy fundraising challenges and feats! Neil began with half marathons and then escalated to running marathons in New York, Paris, and, of course, London.

Ten years ago, Neil’s challenge was to run the Paris marathon, and the very next day, he jumped on his bike and cycled to London, arriving just in time to run the London Marathon. Neil has undertaken a wide variety of challenges, including running and cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, trekking to Everest Base Camp, reaching the summit of Kala Pathar, and climbing Rainbow Mountain. Next stop, however, is Toubkal!

Neil will embark on the four-day trip on 9th May, continuing his relentless work fundraising for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Good luck, Neil!
